Q. Why did you join Animal Eye Clinic?
Lindsey: I joined AEC because I am passionate about incredible care for pets! Eye health for our furry friends is so important and I wanted to be part of a team that focuses on this amazing specialty. As a recent graduate, I want to learn and grow in my field. Working with a specialist, like Dr. Davis, is an incredible opportunity to expand my technical knowledge and help pets in a special way.
Q. Describe why pets are important to you/how have pets changed or influenced you?
Lindsey: Pets, to me, are my family. My life growing up was extremely influenced by my horse, Junior. Together, we worked as a team in and out of the show ring. He taught me about hard work and perseverance. He also helped me mature and learn more about myself. My two kitties now are very special to me, as well!
Q. What are you passionate about?
Lindsey: I am passionate about standing up for those who cannot speak up for themselves. Because pets look to us for protection, happiness and love, I value my ability to help pets and their parents live happy, healthy lives together!
Q. What is your education/where did you go to school?
Lindsey: I recently graduated from Purdue University with my bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology. I’m also a registered veterinary technician.
Q. What do you enjoy doing?
Lindsey: I enjoy volunteering for wildlife organizations. Wildlife conservation and helping people protect our natural preserves is something close to my heart. I also love going on spontaneous adventures (mostly hiking, kayaking or camping – anything that involves the outdoors), traveling the world and meeting new people.
Q. What are three things on your bucket list?
Lindsey: Free dive in the ocean with whales, hike the entirety of the Pacific Crest Trail and BASE jump from a cliff.
